Description:Guaifenesin is a white or almost white, crystalline powder. It is sparingly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol.
Application:
Guaifenesin is an expectorant and antitussive drug. It has antitussive, spasmolytic and anticonvulsant effects. It is suitable for chronic bronchitis and bronchiectasis with multi-phlegm and cough. It is commonly used in combination with other antitussive and antiasthmatic drugs.
